Lemon Bars


Pie Crust

  • 400g all purpose flour
  • 200g butter
  • 50g sugar (optional)
  • 1/2 tablespoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons water

Lemon Bar Mixture

  • 2 cups of granulated sugar
  • 1 cup lemon juice
  • 4 whole eggs
  • 1 tablespoon flour


For lemon bar mixture:

  1. Whisk together all the ingredients until the sugar dissolved.

For pie crust:

  1. Sift the flour into a large bowl, add the butter (cut into small cobe) and rub in with your fingertips until the mixture resembles fine breadcrumbs.
  2. Stir in the salt and sugar(option) then add 2 tbsp water and mix to a firm dough.
  3. Knead the dough briefly and press on the baking tin (9” x 15”) and bake in the hot oven (350°F) for 15 minute, take out from the oven and pour over the lemon bar mixture on the pie crust and continue bake until cooked (45minute)
