Useful Resources

Useful information to help you get started at being an Eagle.

Immigration Pass Requirements

You are responsible for ensuring that your child holds a legal pass to study in Singapore. Employers arrange Dependent's Passes (DPs) for families coming to Singapore. In the absence of a DP, a student is required to either hold a Student Pass or Singaporean Permanent Residency (PR). Students are not allowed to attend/start school with a Short-Term Visa, Long Term Visit Pass (LTVP) or an In-Principle-Approval (IPA) letter by the ICA or MOM. If your child requires a Student Pass, please submit an application using a form below.

If your child is currently a Singaporean citizen, or if your child becomes a Singapore citizen, you must inform the admissions office. All Singapore citizens wishing to enroll in a Foreign System School (FSS) are required to submit an application and supporting documents for approval to the Ministry of Education at a certain age. Please note that MOE will track students who are Singapore citizens. Not abiding by this law may result in government fines and/or disruption in your child's education at SAS.

Please note that the Student Pass is non-transferable between schools. You would need to apply for a new student pass in the event you're transferring from another school in Singapore

School Communications

Communication between school and home is vital to support student learning. We believe that students and parents benefit most by engaging directly with classroom teachers. Beyond that, SAS offers many additional tools to help parents stay connected to daily life on our campus.

For new students, fees are due within thirty (30) days of invoicing. The school may require payment of all school fees at the time of admission, when deemed appropriate due to enrollment limits, waiting lists, or other factors.

Immunization Requirements

With effect from 1 February 2019, the Ministry of Health (MOH) introduced diphtheria and measles vaccination requirements as a prerequisite for foreign-born children aged 12 years and below who are first-time applicants for new immigration passes from the MOM or ICA.

Applicants are required to submit documentary proof of vaccination or evidence of immunity for diphtheria and measles to the Health Promotion Board (HPB) for verification before they can proceed with their pass application to MOM or ICA.

It is important that you allow enough time for your children’s vaccination verification with the HPB. The process can take up to 20 days at peak times.
