The Islander is a student-run publication produced by students of the high school Yearbook Journalism class. It not only serves as the record book/memory book for all SAS high school students but is also our year-long project.
Our mission is to produce a professional, accurate, and original publication that captures the school pulse and shines a spotlight on an appropriate range of events and activities that take place in the SAS community. We take seriously the Herculean task of accurately capturing as many faces, events, and stories as possible. To this end, we welcome ideas, suggestions, and photographs from high school students and staff.
This yearbook is your book, as well as our project.
Thank you for your support and understanding.
