Eagle Stop
The Eagle Stop is our one-stop shop where new families can apply for SASCards and vehicle passes, buy school uniforms and school supplies, and make arrangements for bus transport services.
Eagle Stop
Location
The Eagle Stop is located at Room A108, Level 1, between central administration and middle school.
If you have another appointment on campus (e.g., orientation), you may drop by the Eagle Stop to make purchases and applications, but please keep in mind that the Eagle Stop serves a very high number of families on these days. We strongly encourage you to submit your SASCard applications, bus registrations, and uniform purchases online.

Uniforms
The SAS uniform consists of a white polo shirt with an embroidered logo and navy blue bottoms, also with an embroidered logo. There is also a separate PE uniform, which varies by division. On certain days, SAS students are allowed to wear non-SAS attire while still adhering to school dress codes.

Buy Online
Families are strongly encouraged to purchase uniforms online at the Eagle Stop online store before the first day of school. To purchase long pants, please go to SAS's Land's End website. Families who would like to purchase long sleeves red Coolmax (PE) T-shirts should write to the Eagle Stop Team. You may refer here for more details.

Buy On Campus
Parents may visit Eagle Stop for uniform purchases, collections, or exchanges from January 2, 2024.
Backpack delivery is available for early learning center and elementary school from January 16, 2024 onwards.

SASCard and Vehicle Pass
All SAS community members will obtain an SASCard, which is a chip-based smart card and photo ID. Your SASCard is needed for many school related tasks such as entering campus, cashless on-campus purchases and checking out library books. Outside SAS, it can also be used as a NETS FlashPay card for purchases and for riding public transportation.
SASCards for Students
You do not need to apply for your student to receive an SASCard.
Preschool through second grade students' SASCards are kept by their classroom teachers or instructional assistants to prevent loss. They will also assist the students in buying lunch. We recommend keeping your child’s card topped up with a bit of lunch money. Students in these grades may enter campus with an adult who holds an SASACard. Parents can top up the cards with lunch money using the ID number on the card, which will be provided to you by the classroom teacher.
Students in third grade and above will receive their SASCards from their counselor during orientation.
SASCards and Vehicle Passes for Parents and Other Household Members
Parents and all other community members must apply for an SASCard by completing the application here. If you plan to register a vehicle for campus entry, please indicate as such on the form. You will need your Singapore-issued ID to complete the process. Online applications must be submitted so you can pick up your SASCards and vehicle passes at orientation. Alternatively, you may visit Eagle Stop with your passport or photo ID to get your SAS Card over the counter.
Family or household SASCards may be issued to grandparents, non-SAS siblings (older than 12), and other individuals who frequent campus such as domestic helpers, nannies, and drivers. Please note that cards for family members and household staff, as well as replacement cards for parents and students, will be issued at a cost of S$20 per card. Payment is due when you collect your SASCards and vehicle passes. For payment made by check, please ensure that your check is crossed and made payable to Singapore American School Ltd in SGD. Only SAS parents may collect SASCards on behalf of other family or household members.

Bus Registration
Bus service at SAS is provided by an independent bus company, Yeap Transport Pte Ltd.
Regular Bus Service
Each family must arrange bus service through Yeap Transport (see steps below). Your child will not have a seat on a bus without your registration. The bus office will try to do everything they can to work with you, but they are not obligated to create a space for your child by day one. You may need to arrange private transportation until routing and seats can be arranged.
Families who register with the bus office will receive pick-up and drop-off information via SMS and email.

How to Register

Kindly complete the Bus Registration Online Form for bus service. Upon receipt of your application, we will provide you with confirmation of the application via email.

Don’t worry about stating a temporary address on the registration form - just indicate where your child should be picked up on the first day of school. You may update them with your permanent address later subject to 14 days advance notice.

Provide the bus office with an email you regularly check and your local mobile numbers, so they can send you any updates on the bus schedule. It also facilitates the bus coordinator/teachers to liaise with you when necessary.
