The Eagle Athlete Development Model in the Elementary School |
---
Kindergarten to fifth grade intramural programs focus on structured skill development specific to each sport they participate in.
There will be no cuts and no ability-based sorting in fifth grade or below for intramural sports, which means that all students who come out to play will be able to participate (subject to space availability).
At the intramural level, emphasis is placed on sports seasons, encouraging students to participate in multiple sports activities throughout the year.
When possible, students in intramural sports programs will have the opportunity to play in friendly matches with other international or local schools and/or participate in a culminating "festival" event that could include other international or local schools.
