SAS Foundation

As an independent, non-profit school, Singapore American School depends on annual giving to meet expenses that can’t be covered by tuition alone. Gifts to SAS are vital to our ability to provide the best programs, resources, and technology in our classrooms, as well as take the best care of our outstanding educators.

You play an important role in growing the culture of philanthropy at SAS. As an active member of our community, you can help ensure that our students have the best learning opportunities every day. By giving to education, you create opportunities for students to have access to quality programs, resources, and experiences that help them succeed in school and in life. Your support also helps attract and retain talented educators, maintain affordable tuition rates, and keep our campus safe and well-maintained.

Last year, our community came together and raised more than S$2.4 million for SAS through the generous support of our donors. Parent participation reached a record breaking 28 percent, and over 50 percent of our educators made a gift. This is an incredible accomplishment that would not have been possible without the support of our community. We are so grateful for the generosity of our donors and the participation of our parents and educators, and hope to count on your support again this year!

Why give to SAS? Everyone has different inspirations or motivations for charitable giving. Each and every gift to the SAS enables our school to continue reaching further in becoming a world leader in education. If you have questions, our Director of Development Aisling O’Brien would love to speak to you about giving at SAS.
