Executive Service Council

PAW
PAW’s mission is to give animals the life they deserve by working directly with local animal shelters and fighting for our cause within the SAS community. At the Protection for Animal Welfare service club, not only do we advocate for the well-being of all animals in Singapore, but we also do so globally! In Singapore, we take action by conducting fundraisers at school (such as bake sales, and puppy cafes), we raise awareness through social media, and we conduct hands-on service with animal shelters including the SPCA, and even CAS. Individually, our commitment lies in empowering the SAS community. Through numerous initiatives with our elementary and middle school divisions, we strive to underscore the importance of animal conservation and welfare. Our approach involves teaching through interactive games, reading animal-related stories to our youngest students, and conducting engaging presentations to our middle schoolers.

Blue Planet Initiative
Blue Planet Initiative is a service club that strives to promote marine conservation through indirect and direct service. In the past, we’ve participated in beach cleanups all over Singapore, taught elementary schoolers about marine conservation topics, and created educational posts about marine species on our Instagram (@sasblueplanetinitiative).

Beyond Social Services
Beyond Social Services is a club that aims to help less privileged youth break out of the poverty cycle. Through engaging with the children and providing enriching activities such as scavenger hunts, science experiments, and arts and crafts, we hope to ensure they experience the joys of childhood. We are currently working on creating Christmas-themed card kits for the children which we will gift to them at our next session. Join us in H405 every Thursday afternoon!

Theater Tech
Technical Theatre Club is a SAS-centric service club dedicated to supporting theatre productions. We learn how to be stagehands, use the fly system, operate the lighting and sound desks, use cameras, and work as a team to help dancers, musicians, and actors shine. This year, we worked on our high school musical, Fiddler on the Roof, did lights, sounds, and cameras for the Music Fest, and worked on the dance show, Narnia.
