Mila moved from Missouri to Singapore to finish high school and graduated with the class of 2019. She studied one year of liberal arts at NYU’s London campus before switching up a bit and entering Imperial College London to study Design Engineering. During the degree she was involved in many cultural societies and worked in outreach roles for the university. For a 6 month placement during her degree, Mila returned to Singapore to work at Atelier Ten doing environmental design and engineering. Upon graduation she started full-time at Atelier Ten in the London HQ. Apart from this work, Mila volunteers with Social Capital Initiatives, a charity based in NYC with branches around the world. She also works part time for an EdTech start-up, Aristotal, supporting teacher professional development with the use of AI tools - following from the themes in her Masters dissertation. Mila continues to teach and tutor part time to help younger students enter university and gain exposure to STEM.
