Summer Semester Bus Service Guidelines
- Bus travelling time for Central and North area will be kept within 60 mins depending on areas and bus route movement
- Students staying in the East / South areas may expect longer travelling time up to 75 minutes
- Bus routing and timing is subjected to changes
- The Bus Office reserves the right to deny service to pick-up or drop-off locations identified as low-density or niche areas
- The commencement of any bus route is subject to a minimum of eight (8) confirmed registrations. Where the minimum is not met, an alternative (nearest available) pick-up/drop-off point may be offered. A premium arrangement may also be considered upon request.
- Bus will depart 1 minute after scheduled pickup time from the assigned stop
- Students (Grade 5 and below) must be met by an adult upon bus arrival at the given drop off point
- Students residing in Condominiums/Landed Property will wait for the buses outside the security guardhouse/main gate
- Each bus will have a bus attendant who will supervise and assist students on the bus
Pick-up and Drop-off Procedures
Parents are encouraged to be prompt regarding pick-up and drop-off times. The bus will be allowed to leave 1 minute after the stipulated time. In the afternoon, any child up to fifth grade must be met by a caregiver at the drop-off point, unless parents provide written permission to allow the student to alight and return home by themselves. Otherwise the student will be taken back to SAS, and the parents will be contacted. If the buses are running behind schedule by more than 10 minutes, an SMS announcement will be sent to the parent’s mobile number.
Bus Safety
All buses are licensed by the Land Transport Authority (LTA), and each child is guaranteed a seat with a seatbelt. All buses are air-conditioned. A female bus attendant will supervise the students at all times.
Extra Riders
Only registered riders may ride the school bus, and riders may not change routes temporarily.
