High school graduation will take place on Tuesday, May 25 beginning at 4:30 p.m. Click here to visit our graduation website to learn more about our seniors and to watch commencement. With the twists and turns in social distancing and school restrictions over the last month, we have gone through over a dozen different graduation plans, from in-person to virtual to everything in between. Each time our seniors and their parents have worked closely with our high school leadership team to respond to the changes and craft anew an amazing graduation plan. We are deeply grateful for their collaboration and thought partnership and are looking forward to a wonderful graduation! I encourage you to tune in and celebrate our class of 2021!
I also want to say a huge thanks to our Boosters and PTA for the eye-popping decor in the high school earlier this week. Our senior parents celebrated our seniors with a personalized collection of images and banners in the high school atrium—check it out!
As we look ahead to summer, we remain hopeful that we will be able to begin Summer Semester on Monday, June 14. At the same time, with the current situation in Singapore, we do so with considerable caution. We will only begin Summer Semester when we are able to go back to school in person, as the Summer Semester offerings are all designed to be in person. By now, you should have received an email from our Summer Semester team regarding the shift in schedule. As the situation evolves and we get greater clarity on government policy from June 14 onward, we will reach out to you directly to inform you what that means for our Summer Semester.
I hope you and your children have a wonderful final week of school!
Best,
Tom Boasberg
Superintendent
