STAFF SPOTLIGHT: AMOS ONG
by Didi Hari Krishnan

As much as Singapore American School is known for its excellence, we are also proud to have an outstanding group of dedicated staff who support the school. Every month, we will feature one outstanding staff so you can learn more about who they are and what they do—both at school and outside.

This month's Staff Spotlight series features our design lead at the communications office, Amos Ong. He is one of the pioneers of the communications office responsible for almost all of our branding here at SAS. His vision and ideas have inspired the visual and brand identity on and off-campus, from the heritage gallery to the SAS advertising campaigns, Journeys magazine design and layout, and even some spirit merchandise you see at our Friday Night Lights. It's so impressive to see the huge improvements he's made in the last seven years!

Amos shared with us one of his favorite family traditions that they recently started. When visiting his wife's hometown, Ubon in Ratchathani, he and his family make it a point to visit an orphanage. His family spends the whole day with the kids and gifts them with food supplies and stationeries.

Here's a photo from his recent visit to the orphanage:
