While information may at times be circulated by our community on social media or via Whatsapp groups, questions should be clarified first and foremost by your child’s teacher. Deputy principals can assist for further information and any additional questions you may have.

Living and learning in a digital age

Parents’ role is to help children navigate through technology. Roles and expectations must be clear:

    •    Choices and alternatives should be offered.

    •    Refrain from telling a kid what to do.

    •    Use few words and wrap consequences in a loving blanket of empathy.

    •    “You create the outcome you deserve”

We can steer children to balance passive technology use with activities that leverage technology to be creative, to communicate, to collaborate, or to solve a problem.
