    13th Annual SAS Music Festival
We are delighted to announce the 13th Annual SAS Music Festival will take place March 9-15. Visiting conductors and clinicians will work with all Strings, Choir and Band ensembles in the IS, MS, and HS divisions during rehearsals, taking concert repertoire to the next level and working with students to hone their musical crafts. While here at SAS, these amazing guest musicians will also provide valuable professional development for the Music faculty. Two of these guests will conduct the strings and choir students in a specialized concert. Along with the band, many classes may combine to create larger ensembles, as well as combining cross-divisionally with IS and MS students.

American Association of Singapore - CRCE Youth Internship Program Needs Jobs!
Registration open for potential employers and non-profits

The Youth Internship Program (YIP) places international students between the ages of 14 and 18 into positions with local companies and volunteer organizations during the June/July summer holiday period. YIP been designed to provide a meaningful work experience to students while giving them earlier insight into potential career paths and fields of study. Students are interested in all types of work, from fast food and retail to legal work and architecture. The program also benefits companies. You’ll get temporary support for projects, whether it’s to fill staff shortages or to help with routine projects. We’ll be publicizing companies that participate, so your firm will get great visibility.

    How it works:
    • Summer employment and internship opportunities are gathered via on-line application beginning in January.
    • A student employee candidate pool is established during March and April. Students are then screened and matched to employer job descriptions. Resumes will be forwarded to the employer for interview and hiring beginning in April.
    • Internships should be 4-8 weeks in length and begin in June or July depending upon need. Positions may be paid or un-paid but must be stated in the job description.

Let’s work together to make this program a success! Click here to download the registration form. Contact Heidi Kingman at crce.manager@aasingapore.com for more information.
