Last month the USDA released its updated dietary guidelines. The guidelines, revised every five years, aim to help Americans make better food choices in order to live healthier lives, reduce obesity, and prevent diet-related illnesses. At SAS, we have been working for years to provide a wide range of healthy food options for our community. We are pleased to see that our efforts correlate well to the updated USDA guidelines, and in some areas go well beyond them.
