2007/2008 Annual Budget Approved

Dear Parents,

The Board of Governors presented the proposed budget for 2007-2008 at an open meeting on the 10th of April 2007 to provide an opportunity for community feedback prior to final consideration by the Board in adopting the budget for next school year. Thank you to the community for your input on this important process.

The Board of Governors considered the final budget for the 2007-2008 school year and the budget was adopted by the Board on Tuesday, the 24th of April 2007. The enclosed summary of the adopted budget for next year reflects increased operational spending. The additional funds are intended principally to support compensation packages for our staff, to add additional staff, and to fund additional IT and curriculum resources. The approved changes in school fees for the 2007/2008 school year are as follows:

Preschool tuition		S$ 425 increase
Pre-Kindergarten tuition		S$ 642 increase
Grades K – 2 tuition		S$ 850 increase
Grades 3 – 12 tuition		S$ 500 increase
Annual facility fee		No change
New Student Registration fee		S$ 1,000 increase
