Fourth and Fifth Grade— Can't Stop The Feeling!Believe it or not preparations for this school year's variety show are beginning now! The show will again feature acts from our fabulous fourth and fifth graders. Auditions are scheduled for December 13 to 15 with rehearsals starting on January 15. The show performance will be on Friday, January 26.
Our fourth and fifth graders are very talented and it is impossible to feature every interested child in the production, therefore we do appreciate group acts. It enables the show to accommodate more children and can really add ''variety'' to the show. Songs, skits, instruments, special skills, dances, and hobbies are some categories to think about while preparing for auditions. As a reminder, all components of an act including the lyrics, dance moves, jokes, and music selection, must be appropriate for an elementary school audience and the entire act should be a maximum of two minutes long.
We are also looking for students to audition to be an emcee (announcer) for the show! Students will sign up to be an emcee (announcer) on the form.
As your performer thinks about participation, please consider volunteering. This production is completely volunteer driven and requires both participant and parent commitment to produce the fantastic show we will enjoy and have enjoyed in previous years.
You may sign up your fourth and/or fifth performer here before 3:00 p.m. on Friday, November 17. We are so excited to work with this year's talent and produce an amazing show! Please feel free to email us with any questions you may have.
