“Singapore’s Eagles: Singapore American School 1956-2006” Author Jim Baker, SAS Alumni and current Faculty member, takes us on a journey through the school’s history in a time of great historical significance.  He tells the story of Singapore as it gains self-rule and independence to become a modern economically developed nation; of the American community in Singapore; of young people growing up in a culture different from their own; and of an institution meeting the challenges of growth and change.  Published in March of 2006.
