Please ensure that you have read and completed all of the items below to provide a seamless experience for your family.

Orientation

Orientation sessions will introduce all new students and at least one parent, to the division, counselor, teaching staff, and general expectations. Orientation is an essential part of transition and a huge step toward belonging in our community.

If your child is not starting in January, please contact newstudent@sas.edu.sg for your orientation date.

  2. You will be notified of your child’s pick-up and drop-off location(s) and times via text message or email.

Medical Examination Form And Immunization Schedule

Please complete this SAS medical form and attach supporting immunization records. Medical and immunization forms must be submitted prior to the student's first day of school.

All students must have:

  1. two MMR (measles, mumps, rubella) vaccines upon reaching 18 months of age;
  2. four DTaP (diphteria, tetanus, acellular pertussis) vaccinations upon reaching 18 months of age; and

SASCard and Campus Access at the Eagle Stop*

*You can visit the Eagle Stop by appointment only

The SASCard is a chip-based smart card and photo ID. It allows you to enter the school campus and makes it easy to complete many school-related tasks. You are not required to apply for an SASCard for your child. Students will automatically receive their SASCards through their respective divisions upon arrival at SAS. All other SAS community members, including parents, will need to apply for a SASCard.

For more SASCard information, please drop contact us at sascard@sas.edu.sg or +65 6360 6075.

For preschool through second grade students: Students do not keep their own cards. Instead, these cards are held by their classroom teachers or instructional assistants. Students in these grades are not required to show the card when entering campus with an adult holding a SASCard, and their teachers manage the cards when students check out books.

Parent SASCard and Vehicle Pass

Completing an online application will allow parents to obtain SASCards and vehicle passes.
You will need your Singapore-issued ID (see online application for details) to complete the process.
Please note that parents' and students' cards are free.

SASCards for Additional Family Members

Family SASCards may be issued to grandparents, non-SAS siblings (older than 12), or other relatives who frequent the campus. Similarly, SASCards for domestic helpers, nannies, drivers, and other household staff can be acquired. Please contact the Eagle Stop to apply for SASCards for your family members or helpers.
Please note that there is a fee of $20 per card.

Note: Where applicable, payment is due when you collect your SASCards and vehicle passes. For payment made by check, please ensure that your check is crossed and made payable to Singapore American School Ltd in SGD. SAS does not accept post-dated checks. For security reasons, the SASCard office will only release the SASCards and vehicle passes to a parent of the family.

Uniform Sales at the Eagle Stop*

The SAS uniform consists of a white polo shirt with an embroidered logo and navy blue bottoms, also with an embroidered logo. There is also a separate PE uniform, which varies by division. On certain days, SAS students are allowed to wear non-SAS attire while still adhering to school dress codes.

How to Buy

Due to COVID-19 health and safety protocols, access to campus is limited and families should purchase uniforms at the Eagle Stop online store. To purchase long pants, please go to SAS's Land's End website

Please be aware that we are expecting a high volume of sales before the first day of school on January 4, 2021. To ensure your family receives uniforms before the semester begins, please submit your orders no later than December 23 (1200hrs).

Important: The Eagle Stop and the online store will be closed from December 14 to December 21 for administrative and inventory checks purposes.

After making an online purchase, you must record the order number, which will be required if you prefer to collect your order in person.

How to Collect

Due to COVID-19 health and safety protocols, access to campus is limited and orders must be made through the Eage Stop online store. We strongly encourage you to use the home delivery option (SGD $10.00), which can be added to your basket before checking out.

If you prefer to collect your purchased uniforms in person, you must make an appointment by clicking here. We cannot accept walk-ins due to current health and safety protocols.
