Overview

SAS contracts with an independent, local bus company to provide bus transportation for SAS students. Modern, air-conditioned buses, many of them equipped with 2-way radios, video cameras and GPS tracking system. More than 95 buses provide transportation each day for approximately 2900 students. While the length of the bus route for most students is less than 45 minutes, students living in more distant areas like the East or West Coast may experience longer travel times. Fees are based on the distance from home to school.

After-school activity buses are available for students in grades three and above who participate in after-school activities. The activity buses provide service to several pre-determined drop-off locations.

Activity Buses

Parents will need to register for the activity bus with the the SAS Bus Coordinator, Mr. Adrian Yeap or you may call the bus office at 6360-6770. There are additional charges for the after-school activity bus.

Activity Buses leave at 4:30pm and 6:15pm and go to the following locations:
Bus A - American Club
Bus B - King Albert Park / Ulu Pandan
Bus C - Watten Park Bus Stop / Farrer Rd Wet Market / Ridout Garden Carpark (McDonald)
Bus D - Four Seasons Pk Bus Stop / Great World Service Apt
Bus E - Chancery Court Cold Storage Bus Stop / Newton Carpark / Golden Landmark (Bugis MRT) / Katong Park/ Tanjong Rhu Road
