Overview
Singapore American School is an independent, non-profit, coeducational day school intended primarily to serve citizens of the United States who are resident in Singapore. The school welcomes students of any nationality, belief or race provided that their command of English is adequate to the learning situation, and provided that space is available. Singapore American School reserves the right to establish waiting lists and to assign priorities for enrollment as necessary.
Singapore American School accepts new student applications for the future school year at any time during the year. Admission for the beginning of a school year in August is confirmed only after the school's May 1 re-enrollment deadline for returning students. Applications for the current school year are accepted throughout the year on a space available basis.
Currently applications are being accepted only for children who are U.S. citizens or permanent residents (holding a U.S. passport or green card), or children with a parent employed by a U.S. based company. Due to full enrollment at SAS, all other applications will be returned and payments will be reimbursed, minus a 2% processing fee.
