How to Apply
To apply to SAS, all applicants must submit the items listed on the checklist below. Please send all documents by mail to the Singapore American School Admissions Office at the address below. In addition to asking your previous school to send student records directly to SAS, you should also request a copy to hand carry with you when you move to Singapore.
You may also initiate the application process by applying and paying online. The completed application must be accompanied by full payment of application fees (S$3,424). The submission of this on-line application form and fee does not complete the application process; this submission only places your child on a waitlist for future enrollment until complete application materials are received by the Admissions office. You may download, print, and complete application materials from the SAS Admissions’ website at www.sas.edu.sg/admissions or you may request via e-mail at sas.info@sas.edu.sg that a complete, hardcopy application packet of materials to be sent to your mailing address.
Currently applications are being accepted only for children who are U.S. citizens or permanent residents (holding a U.S. passport or green card), or children with a parent employed by a U.S. based company. Due to full enrollment at SAS, all other applications will be returned and credit card payments will be reimbursed, minus a 2% processing fee.
Once we have received your application and supporting documents, we will be able to make a determination as to whether SAS will be a good match for your child/children. Occasionally additional screening may be required before an admission decision can be reached. Final acceptance and admission to SAS will be based upon a review of all required information. Since some grade levels fill early, we urge you to complete the application process as soon as possible.
If you will be in Singapore prior to your move and would like a personal tour of our campus, please contact the Admissions Office for an appointment. We look forward to your application and having you join the SAS community!
